Stay safe while you wait

Do not touch exposed wiring, damaged sockets or anything that is hot, sparking or wet. Do not open up fittings or the consumer unit to investigate.

If it is safe to do so, switch off the main switch at your consumer unit. If there is a fire, smoke or someone has had an electric shock, call 999 immediately. If you have lost power across the street, contact your network operator on 105.

What happens when you call

We will ask a few questions about what has happened so we can judge the urgency and what may be involved, then arrange a visit. On site we find the cause, make the installation safe and explain the repair options.
